New adventures begin, around our Amazing Place in Aviemore
Great host. Amazing location. Had fantastic time with the family. Would recommend
We enjoyed our time at Barry’s flat, a perfect self-catering accommodation in Aviemore with comfortable beds and a modern kitchen, complete with a washing machine and dishwasher. Its central location allows easy access to many walks around Aviemore without needing a car. We dined at the Balavoulin, the Winking Owl, Old Bridge Inn, and Cairngorm Hotel— all great choices. Would definitely stay here again!
A true home from home! The self-catering accommodation in Aviemore was so well equipped, in a really convenient location, and had everything we needed for a great stay. It was warm and cosy, perfect for the chilly temperatures we experienced. Highly recommend a walk in the Craigellachie Nature Reserve, a cycle on the Old Logging Trail, Glenmore Forest Park trails, and a hike up Cairn Gorm mountain. The buses were great and reliable. For dining, we enjoyed The Cairngorm Hotel, Charcoal, and Smiffy’s, and coffee at Ryvoan Cafe. Plenty of outdoor shops for all your hiking gear, plus Cairn Gorm and Aviemore patches at the tourist info!
We have returned to this lovely apartment, we found the hosts very responsive and friendly, the apartment is comfortable, clean and has everything you could need. Location to town is superb. Walking distance of shops, restaurants and a beautiful woodland behind the wander through with the children. We will be back again! Thank you as always. Naomi, Nathan and kids.
Our stay was great, the apartment was so clean and the kitchen very well stocked with all we needed for meal preparation. I highly recommend to stay here. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Thanks a lot for hosting me!!
Great place close to the best hiking and biking that Aviemore has to offer. Full kitchen, well appointed for home cooked meals. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed this stay at one of the charming holiday cottages in the Cairngorms. The listing was very accurate, and we appreciated the local information provided in the apartment. Detailed instructions on how to find the place and check in and out were a great help. Plenty to do in the area, with the Wildlife Park and Cairngorm Reindeer herd being standouts for us. We were very comfortable here and would definitely stay again.
Barry's Amazing Place in Aviemore suited us very well, and lived up to our expectations based on the listing. Very quiet, easy parking, comfortable, well equipped, including large scale OS maps. The tv was faulty, so we dropped in at Barry's shop mid afternoon - by early evening, Barry had installed s brand new high quality TV. Incredible service! Lots of variety to do in the area. Obviously, serious walking, which I can no longer do. We enjoyed visits to Urquhart Castle in beautiful scenery by Loch Ness, and the Culloden battlefield museum. We drove up to the nearby Cairngorm ski station on a very clear day - could see for miles. Golden Eagles and one wild goat by the Findhorn River. Plus other wildlife locations. The apartment is very close to the train station and a good choice of restaurants, though we did not eat out. Thank you Barry and Heather!
